Custom Searching

This page contains a single entry from the blog posted on October 8, 2007 2:47 PM.

The internet provides a wealth of great information, but we don't always know who is providing that information, or if they are qualified. One tool we can use to narrow our searches are library related web sites, databases, and indexes that are evaluated by people (not machines). Many such sites exist on the internet with free access, but it can be difficult to search them all individually. Google has made a tool available for us to customize a search. Try this custom search out:

In this search, you are searching the following sites:

  • DocuTicker
  • ResourceShelf
  • SBCC Library
  • Librarians' Internet Index
  • Internet Public Library
