Celebrate Irish History Month, in the library!

According to the US Census, the number of U.S. resident who claim Irish ancestry is almost nine times the population of Ireland itself, and the nation's second most frequently reported ancestry. No surprise then that St. Patrick's Day, originally a religious holiday to celebrate the saint who introduced Christianity to Ireland in the fifth century, has evolved into a celebration for all things Irish.
