Facts at your fingertips, part 1

Do you ever find yourself looking for a fast answer to a question in your homework or research and you remember the teacher has said “DON’T use Wikipedia!“?

Not a problem! The library has dozens of reference books available to you online.  This week we will feature the Gale Encyclopedia of American Law.  It covers:

today’s leading cases, major statutes, legal terms and concepts, notable persons involved with the law, and important documents. Includes topics such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, capital punishment, domestic violence, gay and lesbian rights, physician-assisted suicide and more.

What’s more, since this is a credible source, you can cite what you find in your bibliography!

If you have any questions as part of your research, feel feel to contact one of your librarians.
