James Ellroy Presents The Black Dahlia

On Tuesday November 27th at 7:30pm the School of Justice Studies presents novelist James Ellroy. Mr. Ellroy will be discussing his personal connection to L.A.’s most famous unsolved murder, that of Elizabeth Short, a.k.a The Black Dahlia. Mr. Ellroy will be also be signing autographs during the meet & greet held before the event. James Ellroy is considered a master of the noir crime genre. He is perhaps best known for his L.A. Quartet novels, which include the novels The Black Dahlia, The Big Nowhere, L.A. Confidential, and White Jazz. Three of his novels have been adapted into major motion pictures, including The Black Dahlia (2006), L.A. Confidential (1997), and Street Kings (2008) which is based on the novel Destination Morgue!.
