We’re continuing the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month by highlighting a couple of resources available at the library to help you get started on learning more about Hispanic American contributions. Remember this month-long celebration lasts through October 15.

Want to know about famous people of Hispanic heritage? Check out a title from the series Great Hispanic Heritage.

Want to read books by Hispanic American authors, but don’t know where to start? Herencia: the Anthology of Hispanic Literature of the United States traces the complete history of Hispanic writing in the United States. You can even take a peak through Google Preview. Or check out the eBook The Greenwood Encyclopedia of Latino Literature.

Don’t feel like reading? PBS provides great programming throughout the month.

And don’t forget to check out our Chicano Studies Resources research guide or connect with the Ethnic Studies Department on Facebook.
