Valentine “Workshop” and Special Guest

Want to tell someone you love them? What better way than a handmade card!

From Friday, February 9th – Wednesday, February 14th the library will have free Valentine making materials available, inside the library entrance, for you to create something simple, wonderful, silly, or tender!

SPECIAL EVENT!

On Monday, February 12th, 11:30-1pm an actual workshop,
with a special guest, where you will learn to fold origami hearts and flowers to
share with the ones you love. Everyone leaves with a Valentine!

The library is delighted to welcome Margaret Van Sicklen, the creator of the bestselling Origami Page-A-Day calendar and author of Modern paper crafts : a 21st-century guide to folding, cutting, scoring, pleating, and recycling and Joy of Origami. She lives in New York City and Santa Barbara, California.
