student in the libraryThe Library Residency is an opportunity for a recent library school graduate to explore community college librarianship by working in all areas of an award-winning community college library. The library will benefit from the fresh energy of a recent graduate and assist in meeting the ever-growing needs of students and faculty at SBCC. In their capacity as Library Resident, the rotates through different operations of the library and will use their own skills to to make suggestions and bring their own innovative ideas.

The position is part-time (20-27 hours per week) and is paid hourly. The college is in session 16-weeks per semester and funding the position would be $1,000 per week.
