SBCC students studying in the Luria Library.

Computers

The library has 48 iMac Workstations available to students on a first-come, first-serve basis. These computers require a login using a current Pipeline ID and Password and can be located in our Cyber Center on the main floor of the library.

We also have 50 Chromebooks available to check out for on-campus use. These mini-laptops can be checked out for up to four hours using your Campus ID Card. A current Pipeline ID and Password are required to login.

Headphones are also available to borrow at the Checkout Desk.

Printing

All 48 iMac Workstations can be used for printing, and print jobs can be picked up at any campus printer, including the three printers in the library.

Wireless printing is possible from personal computers and library Chromebooks.

You must use funds on your Campus Card (student I.D.) to pay for print jobs in the library or anywhere on campus. Follow these instructions to add money to your Flex account through Pipeline or by using the kiosk in the library lobby.

If you do not have a Campus Card, you may get one in the Office of Student Life, located in the Campus Center (CC building).

Black and white printing is $.10 a page.

Color printing is $.25 a page.

Scanning

The library has one high-speed scanner that is free to use, and each of the copiers/printers will allow you to scan for free. The high-speed Scanner is located near the Reference & Information Desk.

Two flatbed Scanners are available at the Windows-based computers in the Cyber Center. DSPS Students are given priority for these workstations.

Copiers

For paper copies, the library has three copiers/printers on the main floor. The cost is $.10 a page for black and white copies and $.25 for color copies.
