What's a Wiki?

Wiki comes from the Hawaiian term for "quick" or "super-fast". A Wiki (pronounced "wicky", "weekee", or "veekee") is a website allowing users to add and update content of the site. "Wiki" also refers to the collaborative software used to create such a website. Notably, pages can be added and updated quickly and easily using a common web browser. The Luria Library Wiki is built on the MediaWiki platform, the same system that runs Wikipedia.
